Unique Student Identifier (USI), School History & Previous Qualification
Your USI
Important: From 1 January 2015, we cannot issue you a nationally recognised VET qualification or statement of attainment without a Unique Student Identifier (USI). Your USI must also be included in the data submitted to NCVER. For more information, visit NCVER.
You can give WTS permission to access your full VET transcript by logging into your USI portal and following the prompts. You will have the option to provide your USI account and/or VET Transcript to WTS. For more information, visit USI Provider Access.
Granting access could be for:
- Full VET transcript
- Transcript extract
If you do not have a USI number, please click the link: Get a USI and follow the instructions to create your USI and enter the number in the space below.
Please note that if you would like to specify your gender as ‘other’ you will need to contact the USI Office for assistance.
If you are currently enrolled in secondary education, the Highest school level completed refers to the highest school level you have actually completed and not the level you are currently undertaking. For example, if you are currently in Year 10 the Highest school level completed is Year 9.
For example, if you have completed an RSA Certificate SITHFAB002 or short course qualifications/certificates.
For example, if you have completed your training SIR30216 Certificate III in Retail, please list.
For example, if you have commenced and is training in SIR30216 Certificate III in Retail that you have not completed
Credit Transfer
Credit transfer is a process that involves the assessment of an individual's relevant prior qualifications. Any equivalent units that have been successfully completed by the applicant may be eligible for credit transfer towards the qualification being undertaken with WTS.
WTS will review the Certificate/s and Statement of Attainment/s that you have uploaded to assess your potential for Credit Transfer.

Please read each of the following sections carefully. Please ensure that you acknowledge that you have read each section by signing the field below.

Section 1
I grant to the producers and their representatives the right to take, reproduce, use, exhibit, display, broadcast and distribute and create images and recordings in any media now known or later developed. I acknowledge that Workplace Training Strategies owns all rights to take and publish the images and recordings for marketing and advertising to include internet, social media, print or website.
Section 2
During your study, you will be required to take and upload photographic and video evidence of yourself to satisfactorily complete the tasks required of your course. I hereby grant permission to Workplace Training Strategies and its representatives to take photographs or videos of me and to make recordings of my voice in or associated with my Training Program, Workshops and Assessment.
Section 3
I hereby waive any right to inspect or approve the use of the images or recordings or of any written copy. I further waive all moral rights. I also waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of the images, recordings, or materials. I hereby release, defend, indemnify and hold harmless the producers from and against any claims, damages or liability arising from or related to the use of the images, recordings or materials, including but not limited to claims of defamation, invasion of privacy, or rights of publicity or copyright infringement, or any misuse, distortion, blurring, alteration, optical illusion or use in composite form that may occur or be produced in taking, processing, reduction or production of the finished product, its publication or distribution. I am competent to contract in my own name. I have read this document before signing below, and I fully understand the contents, meaning and impact of this consent, waiver, indemnity and release.
Section 4
For WTS to communicate effectively with you and your workplace supervisors we may require access to your existing workplace communication app and/or suggest to your workplace supervisor to introduce a communication app. The app will collect personal and other information and may use your device’s Global Positioning System (GPS) technology. WTS will ensure all information is treated as personal information.
Mobile apps can be downloaded to your web-enabled mobile device and provide a variety of functionalities that enhance the communication experience. These applications will allow you to view your training schedule, confirm your training session, communicate with all parties (peers, employer, supervisor, trainers, administrators), and receive updates on program requirements and progression.

Section 5
I acknowledge that I have been provided with access to course information to include but not limited to; WTS fees, charges & refunds, program information outlining course contact, units, electives, and program delivery. Please see the link below for more information.

Section 6
I acknowledge that I have been provided with access to the WTS Student handbook and acknowledge that it is my responsibility to read and understand its contents. I agree to abide to the policies and procedures that are outlined and understand that i can contact WTS to seek clarification at any time.

I am aware of the course requirements and believe the course to be suitable to my individual training needs. Please see the program descriptor for relevant qualifications.

Section 8
I declare that the information I have provided to the best of my knowledge is true and correct and complete at the time of my enrolment application. I understand that the information I have provided such as'; citizenship, date of birth, prior qualifications will determine my eligibility under the Skills First Program.
I understand that providing WTS with false information and/or failing to disclose any information relevant to my application for enrolment and/or failure to complete an application/enrolment form may result in the immediate transfer of my enrolment to a Fee for Service enrolment fee and/or cancellation of my enrolment at the discretion of WTS, particularly, if it relates to my eligibility for government subsidised training

Section 9
I acknowledge that I have been made aware that my enrolment may impact my access to further government subsidised training
Section 10
I acknowledge that I have been provided with information about the processes of Recognition of Prior Learning and Credit Transfer and my eligibility for these will be assessed by WTS from the information I have provided.

Section 11
I acknowledge that my Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy will be assessed by WTS. Should my current skill level not meet the minimum requirements to complete the course, WTS will contact me to discuss and recommend strategies and independent study before commencing the course.
Section 12
I understand that any ID information provided to WTS will be retained for the minimum amount of time required in accordance with eligibility evidence and record keeping requirements of Skills First and National Vocational Education and Training Regulator Act 2011 (Cth) (the Act) and after this time it will be securely destroyed.

Section 13
WTS uses a third-party provider to check and verify a student's ID documentation. I consent and acknowledge that the information supplied by me will be checked and verified with the document issuer and or official record holder via the third-party provider for the purpose of verifying my identity.
*If this process fails, a student may be eligible to come to the Head Office in Brighton East to have their ID verified or through a registered certifier.

Section 14
I request for training to be delivered according to the duration set out in the WTS Training Plan.
Section 15
Privacy Notice: I acknowledge, under the Data Provision Requirements 2012, WTS is required to collect personal information about you and to disclose that personal information to the National Centre for Vocational Education Research Ltd (NCVER).

Section 16
WTS has zero tolerance policy on the abuse of staff. WTS staff members have the right to work without fear of violence and abuse, and the right of appropriate self-defence in extreme cases. Staff who face these situations have license and right to end any training or conversation whether it be onsite, via zoom, email, SMS, or telephone. WTS reserves the right to immediately terminate contracts and contacts that are deemed to be abusive and threatening to staff.
WTS Child Safe Standards and Wellbeing Policy
The National Principles for Child Safe Organisations emphasise the importance of each organisation having policies and procedures that document how the organisation is safe for young people. The National Principles also indicate the need for organisations to develop, implement and regularly review and improve their child safe policies and practices.
All students under the age of 18 of age who are supported by WTS have a right to feel and be safe. WTS is committed to the safety and well-being of young individuals accessing our services. WTS undertakes to comply with relevant child safety legislation across jurisdictions of operations and commits to establishing and maintaining child safe environments.
The WTS Child Safety and Wellbeing Policy demonstrates our commitment to creating and maintaining a child safe and child-friendly organisation, where children and young people are safe and feel safe.
